
This is a 2 day workshop. Students will go home with a completed "Mr Hare" dressed in his own Victorian period costume.
Wednesday 6th 9.00am - 5.00pm and Thursday 7th 9.00am-5.00pm Wednesday held at the Sebel Playford and Thursday held at the Adelaide Festival Centre
This doll was designed exclusively for The South Australian Doll and Teddy Bear Convention 2008.
"Mr Hare" is 48cm (19") tall and is made from cloth with a Lycra overlay face, needle sculpted and coloured with oil pastels. He is free standing with internal wire armature.
Each student will be provided with patterns including full instructions for both "Mr Hare and the Tortoise".
(Some pre-class sewing of the costume is required).
Included in the cost of the workshop is a complete kit for making both dolls.
***Please note that only "Mr. Hare" will be taught in the 2 day workshop.
Class Requirements
• Sewing Machine • Hair Dryer • Fibrefill • General sewing supplies e.g. Dolls needles (set of 3), Good quality thread, (especially grey)
***Provided by Tutor on the day: Turning tools and haemostats for stuffing.
